And so in the end, after all that effort, Patrick’s case did not improve. In fact, things seemed like they were getting worse than before,  nothing seemed to be going as planned. His condition was growing worse despite the fact that Patrick had been admitted to the hospital to rid himself of his addiction. And soon, he fled the facility and decided to live on the streets rather than going home.
