The Great Manta

The giant manta ray is a species of some of the phenomenal oceanic ray family. Though biologically, they are huge and magnificent creatures who weigh more than 1000 kilograms, this one was nearly 26 feet long and weighed nearly 5000 kilograms. It was believed to be allegedly caught by a fisherman at the coast of Peru in Brielle, New Jersey in the year 1933.
