The kid was indeed surprised to learn how the police handled the whole situation. “Surprisingly, I’m like, dang, the city’s not the bad guys in this situation. They’re actually the ones who are helping me,” expressed Jaequan when asked to comment about how he felt about the police doing all this for him.
