Decade-Long Drought
California was undergoing a serious drought for the past ten years. The calamity had made the entire ecosystem suffer including Lake Berryessa. Due to drought, the water level of the lake had reduced scaringly. It was a pathetic sight as the lake that used to be filled to its brim was lacking a huge amount of it.
