Public Pleas

Keeping the possibility in mind that someone might have seen something, Pam even conducted live press conferences to bring to more and more attention. Her mother didn’t even know whether Emily was picked up in a car or if she walked out alone. She didn’t say anything about coming back in the letter.

Family Support

Pam was receiving help from her friends and family. Despite police’s efforts, Pam wasn’t satisfied, she just couldn’t sit at home knowing her daughter was somewhere out and most probably struggling or in trouble.

A Briefing

One morning the cop’s called Pam to see if she was home as they were supposed to give her the latest updates about the case. Pam told them they can come immediately for she took off from work to search for her daughter.

No Danger

The cops told Pam that as per their theory, Emily wasn’t in any trouble. She walked out of the home with her own agenda, and she would most probably return home when she’ll feel like. The investigators made it pretty much clear that they will still keep the search on and the case open.

No Way

Pam wasn’t ready to admit that her daughter can leave her just like that for no reason at all. She felt insulted and made it very clear that it wasn’t her daughter’s nature to run away. Also, she’ll keep looking for her even if the cops won’t help her.

Online History

The cops also searched Emily’s room and took her computer as evidence. Emily has been searching several websites for more information on running away. This research has been going on from several months now. She stopped using her Facebook account ever since she left her house. The last ping on her phone was nearby her home only.
