Something’s Odd

It did not take much time for the farmer to realize that the creature they had been keeping for so long was not what they thought it to be. Well, their physical features were different a great deal from the regular cats. Along with that, there was some distinction in their behavior too. 

A WildCat

After a bit of research, they learned that the breed they had been petting in their house for so long was actually a rarely found wild cat. They came from the breed known as Palla’s Cats. The cats are famous as manuls and are usually spotted in Central Asia. It was confusing as to if they are found in Central Asia how did it come to Russia?

Manuls

Manuls have a larger body size in comparison to the ordinary cats. Along with that, the cats of this breed has shorter legs and a sturdy body. And they are very fluffy too. Perhaps, it is mainly because of the fluff their size seems double of the cats. The fur also helps them in keeping their body warm in extremely cold weather. The revelation did worry them a bit.

Ferocious

These cats are also famous for their aggressive behavior. They get provoked easily and can attack anyone. The farmer knew that and so he hesitated in keeping them any longer with them as he feared for his livestock. There were chances that the cat would kill his livestock. But there was no way, he was going to boot them out of his house. It was then he found a way out. 

Daursky Nature Reserve

The man decided to give them up to Daursky Nature Reserve.  It is a nature reserve located in Siberia. The reserve has thousands of animals dwelling in it. And it is because of that, the farmer thought that wild cats would be safer here. He handed them over to the reserve.

A Mother Figure

The kittens were still too small to take care of themselves and so needed a mother figure to look after them. The lack of which could have put their lives in danger. The reserve needed to find a mother for these kittens.
