For some reason, Jacob’s first thought was he will be late for the delivery. His boss may or may not understand. He decided to call his supervisor to convey the delay, but his call did not go through. There was no service out here. Or anything else for that matter. He was surrounded by trees and a long road that was god knows how many miles away from a rest stop.
