Time Flies

Time passed by and Carrol matured into a young lady. She got married to a man of her choice and bid goodbye to her father’s home. However, her affection for her parents and especially for her father did not lessen a bit. She continued frequenting her mother’s house even after her marriage. Fortunately, her husband and her in-laws never stopped her from visiting her parents’ home. Even though the lady had another man in her life, her father was still the world’s best man for her and she still was sharing her every secret with her father.

Post Marriage

Even after her marriage, the woman was still very much a part of the home. Nothing had changed neither the house nor the behavior of her parents. However, there was one change that had come in her father. Her father prohibited her and her siblings for that matter from touching one of the drawers that was attached to his desk. Though no one dared to touch the drawer, Carrol always felt drawn towards that. She thought it to be related to the uncanny behavior of her father.

Another Jump

The time took another leap and Carrol who once was a newlywed wife turned into a 60-year-old lady. Now Carrol had even a larger family with children and grandchildren. The woman had gone too busy to take care of her family. Her whole time got consumed by her own family and so she was hardly left with any time to meet her parents. However, soon the time was about to take another turn. Carrol was going to get back to her parents’ house only to discover the unexpected truth about her father.

Not A Regular One

While Carrol was busy with her own family, her father was about to face a tragic situation. Mr. Clifford had been feeling unwell for a few days. He had grown week and inactive. Along with that, he started getting ill day by day.  Initially, everyone thought it to be the regular health problems the age-old people usually go through. But when they got it checked by a doctor and they realized it was not a normal thing.

A Call

Carrol was at her home when she received a call from her parents’ home. It was then she learned about the horrible condition of her father. Mr. Clifford was diagnosed with Leukemia. No doubt, Carrol’s father was in critical condition and that made her worried a lot. But little did she know, she was soon going to discover a side of her father that she never knew before.

Bad News

The doctor confirmed that he is in the last stage and will be giving up his life anytime soon. Needless to say, the sad news broke everyone in the family. Carrol who loved her father the most felt sunk in grief. She was going to lose the best person in her life in a few days but before that, a hidden chapter of Mr. Clifford was going to be uncovered by her.

Back To House

She decided to stay in her parents’ home for some time. The home wasn’t the same anymore. Her father was taking his last breath and her brothers and their family were filled with grief.

Do Not Touch

While roaming in her house, Carrol’s eye catches the mysterious drawer that all of them were prohibited from touching by their father. The curiosity to know what was inside had already been there in her and when she saw the drawer guardless she could not help but step towards it to open the drawer up. She really wanted to know what exactly her father was hiding from her.
