Assumptions
As the inmates started to clean the hatch, they made certain assumptions too. Carol thought that the hatch might have been an underground room once which was now empty and rusty. But they didn’t have any idea why they were going to be famous because of the hatch. So slowly they started pulling off all the grass that was grown on the hatch with all the strength they had.
