The French President and First Lady have quite an interesting love story. Fifteen-year-old Emmanuel Macron acted in a school play directed by Brigitte Trogneux, 24 years his senior. At age 17, Macron told her, “Whatever you do, I will marry you.”

Yikes! A threat or a promise?! Happy ending: Brigitte reciprocated the future president’s affection. She is quoted as saying, “Nobody will ever know at what age our story became a love story. That belongs to us. That is our secret.”
