Recovering From The Surgery
After the surgery, it took a day for Rachelle to gain her consciousness in the hospital. There was a tube going down her throat and she could hear the ventilator buzzing because it was helping her breathe. Rachelle was afraid and in that state of discomfort, she saw her college sweetheart sitting next to her. Again she could only see him holding her hands but couldn’t feel it. There were thousands of words in her which she wanted to say to him but couldn’t. His presence made her feel at peace.
