Pride And Joy

Roy and Bernita weren’t going to take any risk in case of Stacey. “I do believe Stacey’s birth was a miracle. I don’t know that I can put into words how long we waited and how special that made her,” recalled Bernita.

Possessive Midnight

“He was always looking at her,” Bernita recalled. According to her, Midnight was “always in the room with her.” Midnight became less demanding after the baby girl’s birth. He just used to follow the little girl where ever someone took her into their arms.

Waiting At The Door

Midnight was extremely possessive when it was about Stacey. Anytime her parents took her to the clinic, the cat used to wait for her at the door. He used to sniff her and then allowed her parents to bring her in.

Silent Watcher

He neither insisted on going out for a walk nor tricked anyone into playing with him. Midnight stared at Stacey every time she made a movement. He was like a silent watcher. His affection towards the little one was now known to everyone who visited the Rogers home.

Stacey Is Sick

The couple was doing their best but that wasn’t enough. So, when one fine day, Stacey started to cry and didn’t stop for the whole night, the couple rushed to the hospital without any delay. The doctors asked them to wait outside.

Hours Of Observation

Every moment was miserable for Bertina and Roy who knew very well that they won’t be able to take it if anything bad happens to their baby girl. The doctors kept her in observation for a few hours before telling the parents what has happened to Stacey.
