The doctor had started to advise them about the treatment that Norma could undergo to slow down the effect of cancer. She sat there listening to him when he said she could undergo surgery, chemo or radio but she didn’t utter a word. Tim and Ramie looked at her to know about her decision and what she said afterward not only surprised the people in the room but also made them smile and making them forget about the tensions for a while.
