Waldsassed Abbey is located near the border between Bavaria Germany and the Czech Republic. This Catholic nunnery was built in the 12th century. In 1724, the library saw a massive change in its style. It was modified to early Rococo style. And the most interesting part all the books are bound in white pigskin. The library is managed by the nuns of the Cistercian Sisterhood.
