According to the stories that surrounded the end of World War II, beneath the Lake Toplitz in Austria might lie a treasure that is worth a fortune. A force of Nazi soldiers led by a Schutzstaffel officer, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, emptied trunks full of gold in the aforestated lake.
Many people have tried to find the treasure but no one has faced any success due to the fact that there are a number of logs and vegetation in the lake which made the visibility for searchers very poor.
