Ancient Cannibals

Some chapters from the past induce so much horror that they are better left unsaid. In this dark and despicable cave somewhere in Spain, scientists have found that Neanderthal practiced cannibalism somewhere around 10,000 years ago. The bones that have been found in the cave were dented, crushed and broken in ways that suggest cannibalism. Scientists also believe that cannibalism by this tribe was not carried out for nutrients but as an intimidating act for other competing tribes.

Research also suggests that Neanderthal had small social-network, that is why they failed to co-operate with each other and ended up eating each other at hard times.
