In a cave located in Naica, Mexico, scientists claim to have found life in the form of crystals. The group investigating the place was not under the impression that they could find something like this. The life they found is around 50,000 years old.

The bacterias found, survived in the cave by feasting on iron and magnesium that existed within these crystals. The introduction to this form of life had widened the scope of finding it under more circumstances.
