About 39,000 years ago this gigantic woolly mammoth wandered around Alaska and Siberia. Recently, scientists revived one such species of this historic creature from the Novosibirsk Islands, an archipelago in Northern Russia. This one is said to be the most nicely preserved animal to be found so far. You won’t believe the blood and muscles were also intact, which made the scientists think of cloning.
