When Karafin was 10, she got very sick. She was diagnosed with bone cancer. She spent two years in treatments, and today, you all can see she is perfectly healthy and active. This experience taught her about the real meaning of life. “I don’t want to waste away my youth and I don’t want others to waste away their youth and I don’t want them to do it because people think they don’t have enough money or enough time,” she explains.
